Brazilian industrial production begins to give the first signs of recovery . According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), between May and June there was growth of 1.1% - resumed pulled by nine units of the Federation.
The most intense advances have occurred in Rio de Janeiro (5.7%), Santa Catarina (5.4%), Pará (4.9%), Rio Grande do Sul (4.6%) and Paraná (3.5% ). Ceará (2.0%), São Paulo (1.5%), Goiás (1.4%) and Pernambuco (1.2%) completed the set of sites with positive indexes in June 2016.
The June quarter also showed a positive performance, up 0.6% compared to the quarter ended in May.In this evaluation, the most significant advances have occurred in Pernambuco (3.0%), Rio de Janeiro (2.5%), Rio Grande do Sul (1.9%), Santa Catarina (1.2%), Pará (1 , 0%) and São Paulo (0.8%).
According to the IBGE, the high of the month industry had positive rates spread, reaching the four major economic categories and 18 of the 24 subsectors surveyed. Among the sectors, the main positive influence came from automotive vehicles, trailers and bodies (8.4%).
Where the industry grows
Other positive contributions came from perfumes, soaps, cleaning products and personal care (4.7%); metallurgy (4.7%); manufacture of apparel and accessories (9.8%); leather goods, travel items and footwear (10.8%);pharmaceutical chemicals and pharmaceuticals (4.4%); and rubber and plastics products (2.4%).
Among the large groups observed by the IBGE, capital goods, which increased 2.1%, showed the sharpest expansion in June 2016. This was also the sixth consecutive positive rate, accumulating a gain of 13.9% in this period.
For the country, increase in production of capital goods may mean in the future more investments. These items are produced to manufacture other, that is, those who purchase a well these wants to raise its production, which generates more wealth and jobs for Brazil.
