Of the total, 2.67 million were produced in Brazil and 104 thousand abroad

Petrobras produced 2.77 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) of oil and natural gas in October. According to information disclosed by the company, 2.67 million were produced in Brazil and 104 thousand abroad.

In Brazil, average oil production was 2.16 million barrels per day (bpd). A of natural gas, in turn, was 80.3 million cubic meters per day, which represents a decrease of 1.5% compared to September. Petrobras explained that this reduction occurred due to the maintenance stops of the Anchieta and Caraguatatuba City platforms  .

Oil and natural gas production in the pre-salt layer operated by Petrobras was 1.63 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, 2.9% lower than the previous month. This drop was also due to the maintenance stops for the same platforms.
