Proposals will be accepted for support to training programs, the development of film and TV projects, and co-production of Ibero-American films
The Ibermedia Program today opened its 2013 invitation for support applications, with the period for submission of proposals running until April 30. Created in 1997 and ratified by the 18 countries that finance the program, the Ibermedia Support Fund is a stimulus program for the promotion and distribution of Ibero-American films and is part of the audiovisual policy of the Ibero-American Conference of Film Authorities (CACI), of which ANCINE forms part, representing Brazil.
For 2013, proposals will be accepted in the following categories:
• Support for training programs targeted at professionals from the Ibero-American audiovisual industry.
• Support for development of film and television projects.
• Support for co-production of Ibero-American films.
Each of these categories has its own rules.
The submission of proposals does not imply their acceptance. The regulations for the three categories are available on the Ibermedia Program website which also includes the necessary forms and documents for submission of applications to the fund. The required forms and documents should be sent to the National Cinema Agency - ANCINE (Av. Graça Aranha, 35 – 2° andar, 20030-002. Rio de Janeiro - RJ), or to the IBERMEDIA Technical Unit (Calle Ferraz nº 10 , 1º izda. 28008 Madrid, Spain), by mail, in person or online, directly via the program website.
