In the 82 wells of the geological area, 1,351 million barrels of oil and 52 million cubic meters of natural gas
In September, the production of oil and natural gas from the pre-salt corresponded to almost half (49.8%) of the total produced throughout the country. The information is from the bulletin of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP ) and were released on Wednesday (1st). In the month, they were about 1.677 million barrels a day, 6.6% higher than August.
In the 82 wells of the geological area, 1,351 million barrels of oil and 52 million cubic meters of natural gas were produced per day. According to the agency, the pre-salt wells are in the area defined in item IV of caput of article 2 of Law 12,351 / 2010 .
Total Production
In all, oil production in Brazil totaled 2.653 million barrels per day (bbl / d) in September, an increase of 3% compared to the previous month . Natural gas exploration reached 114 million cubic meters per day (m 3 / d), an increase of 1.9% compared to August of this year. On the other hand, the national production was approximately 3,370 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe / d).
Among the producing fields, the Lula field, in the Santos Basin, produced an average of 799 thousand bbl / d of oil and 33.2 million m 3 / d of natural gas. The production of marine fields totaled 95.3% of oil and 79.3% of natural gas.
There were 8,115 wells, 725 seafarers and 7,390 landfills. The fields operated by Petrobras produced 93.8% of the oil and natural gas. In parallel, 306 concessions operated by 25 companies were responsible for domestic production.
