The component Credit Security Index, which assesses the debt payment capacity, a 3.1% decrease was observed in relation to August and the index stood at 81.7 points in September. Compared to the same month last year, the drop was even more significant (-4.9%).
In the analysis of Fecomercio, the Financing Intentions Index tends to remain at low levels in the coming months, but increased compared to the end of 2015 and early this year, "signaling a more optimistic view of the economy."According to the federation, the long-term credit supply is virtually stagnant, which symbolizes a "paralysis of the real estate market", where consumers often use these funds.
