State will be the fourth to receive the Program - created to increase productivity and generate employment and income in the Country

Map the barriers that hamper the development of the local economy and present solutions for competitiveness. This is the main objective of the Mobilization Program for Employment and Productivity, an initiative of the Ministry of Economy, through the Special Secretariat for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness (Sepec), carried out in partnership with the state governments and Sebrae.

The program will go through all the units of the federation to draw up measures - together with entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, state and municipal public managers - to resume economic growth. The initiative will be launched in Bahia this Thursday (4/7). The first state to receive the Mobilization for Employment and Productivity was Minas Gerais. There will be another 12 launch later this year.

Representatives of entities from the local productive sector and entrepreneurs from the most diverse sectors and ports of Bahia will participate in the initiative, which will be attended by the special Secretary for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness, Carlos Da Costa; the governor of Bahia, Rui Costa; of the mayor of Salvador, Antônio Carlos Magalhães Neto; and the president of the National Sebrae, Carlos Melles.

In Bahia, the program has the support of the Fieb System; Fecomercio; Business Forum of Bahia; and Federation of Commercial and Business Associations of Bahia.

About 300 entrepreneurs are expected to participate in the launch this morning (4), at which time the web application Mobiliza Brasil - a channel through which any citizen can suggest improvements to the business environment of his locality, will also be launched. The tool is already available in the Apple Store and Google Play stores and allows you to gather suggestions and organize data that will be used as input for public policy making. Since May 3, when it was aired, the web application has already received more than 10,000 participations.
