Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, attends the opening of the event
The Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, and the Special Secretary for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness, Carlos Da Costa, participate on Wednesday (29/5), the event "Productivity and Economic Growth in Brazil", organized by the Brazilian government in partnership with the Latin American Development Bank (CAF).
In the seminar, the Economics and Development Report - RED 2018 "Institutions for Productivity" will be presented. The paper examines four factors that have an impact on the productivity environment of the economy: competition, access to inputs and cooperation between firms, labor relations and financing.
In addition to Guedes and Da Costa, the Special Secretary for Foreign Trade and International Affairs of the Ministry of Economy, Marcos Troyjo, and Secretaries Caio Megale (Development of Industry, Commerce, Services and Innovation - Sepec) and Diogo Mac Cord Infrastructure Development - Sepec).
