Action will be held this Friday (17); initiative seeks to alert Metro passengers about health care

To celebrate the World Day to Fight Hypertension, celebrated next Friday (17), ViaMobilidade, responsible for the operation and maintenance of Line 5-Lilac Metro, carries out an awareness raising action on the disease, in partnership with the Instituto do Coração and the Brazilian Society of Hypertension.

This year, the initiative has as its theme women, with the slogan "Less Pressure on Women", and will take place at the Santo Amaro station, from 10am to 4pm. The activation will offer the passengers of the line free of charge the blood pressure measurement.

Professionals from various specialties of the Heart Institute and the Brazilian Society of Hypertension will be responsible for the assessment and provide clarification on hypertension, its risks and the correct use of medications in the treatment. In addition, the action will feature the distribution of information leaflets on the subject.
