Brazil increases industrialized exports in 2016

Manufactured goods grew 8% compared to 2015, while semimanufactured goods increased 9.5% from one year to another

Brazil has increased the export of technology in 2016. Data from the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services reveal that the sale of more complex products, classified as manufactured, grew 8% between last year and 2015.

In the same period, semimanufactured goods, which were also processed in some way, grew by 9.5% compared to 2015. These data also suggest that the external sector guaranteed profitability for the industry, despite the difficulties last year, especially with the domestic market .

According to the ministry, among the industrialized countries, the main volume highlights were raw sugar (+ 24.5%), pulp (+ 12.6%), airplanes (+ 15.3%), passenger cars 3%) and aluminum oxides and hydroxides (+ 5.7%).

Gross sales (39.8%), semimanufactured gold (31.1%), lumber (17.4%), oil platforms (86.9%), passenger cars (38%) , 2%), cargo vehicles (27.1%) and airplanes (6%).

Volume exported in 2016

With this performance, Brazilian exports increased from 638 million tons in 2015 to 645 million tons last year - an increase of 1.10%.

In the case of raw sugar, cellulose, aluminum oxides and hydroxides and non-frozen orange juice, the volume exported was record.
