At an event in China, Minister Marco Pereira talked about restoring confidence in the country and invited businessmen to invest in Brazil

"We are living a moment of renewed confidence in Brazil. We are natural partners and here we have the mission to deepen strategic trust and build a stronger partnership between our countries and our respective  business communities," said Minister of Industry, Trade and Services Marcos Pereira, during the last day of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese -speaking countries.

The minister attended an  event with more than 500 Chinese entrepreneurs, whom invited to invest in Brazil. Pereira assured investors present that will be increasingly easier for companies to establish themselves in Brazil and succeed in their endeavors.

"Indicators of the economy already signal the restoration of confidence in the country, a natural consequence of a context that fosters predictability of its rules, the stability of its indicators and fiscal responsibility. Pereira also recorded success in negotiations for Cooperation Agreements and Investment Facilitation (ACFIs) already signed with seven countries. He pointed out that the Brazilian model of investment agreement contributes to improving the business environment and  recalled that the first two ACFIs were concluded with Portuguese - speaking countries: Angola and Mozambique.

The minister also told the Chinese businessmen on the Growing Program, which recasts the concession model in the country. Initially, there are 34 energy infrastructure projects, airports, roads, ports, railways and mining, for the concessions to the private sector.

After meeting with the businessmen, the minister Marcos Pereira attended a bilateral meeting with Minister of Economy of Portugal, Manuel Caldeira Cabral, who signaled interest in investing in startups Brazilian.
