Products priced below the values receive a bonus to reduce the financing of the National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture in the following month
Rice, beans, milk, tomatoes and bananas are among the products entitled to discount in the December installments of the National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture (Pronaf).
The list of crops and the regions covered this month, with the support of the Family Farm Price Guarantee Program (PGPAF), was published this Friday (8) in the Official Gazette (DOU) .
Every month, the National Supply Company (Conab) analyzes the prices practiced by the market. Products priced below the PGPAF guarantee amounts receive a bonus for use in the Pronaf financing rebate the following month. The bonuses are effective this Friday and are valid until January 9, 2018.
In November, rice, babassu, bananas, potatoes, cocoa, yam, yerba beans, cowpea beans, milk, castor bean, mango, honey, corn, carnauba, sorghum, tomato, wheat and triticale. It was a highlight for bean cowpea in Mato Grosso, with a 51.32% bonus, followed by babassu almond in the states of Tocantins (47.74%), Pará (45.99%), Ceará State (45.64%) and Maranhão (42.51%).
