Ministry of Economy approves immediate release of R $ 38.5 million to the Ministry of Defense
Request refers to appeals for Law and Order Guarantee Operations
The Ministry of Economy received on Friday (23) request for decontamination by the Ministry of Defense, in the total amount of $ 38.5 million. This amount refers to the contingent value of the Law and Order Guarantee Operations action, which has an approved appropriation of R $ 47.5 million, having so far committed approximately R $ 7.1 millions.
Having made the first estimates of value, considering the current fiscal scenario, the Ministry of Economy approved the immediate release of R $ 38.5 million, seeking to meet in an emergency claim submitted by the Defense. This amount will be released to the MD, as committed by the Economy.
Importantly, this Ministry is following the evolution of the theme and will take the necessary steps, together with the Defense, to fully comply with the presidential command contained in Decree No. 9,985, of August 23, 2019 .
