Health inspection
Value for those who do not follow the rules goes from R $ 15 thousand to R $ 500 thousand
The plenary of the House of Representatives approved the basic text of the provisional measure that raises the rigor in the inspection of products of animal origin. Among the main measures of the text is the increase, from R $ 15 thousand to R $ 500 thousand, of the maximum value of the fine applied to violators of sanitary legislation.
In addition, the MP implements sanctions as a cassation of the registry of the establishment and the prohibition of the infringing company to enter into agreements with the public power for up to five years.
The measure is a result of the health policies proposed by the federal government after the Operation Meat Poor, which pointed to some irregularities in the federal sanitary inspection.
